Needless to say the Health Watch USA^sm 2013 conference was a memorable one.
A large power outage affecting 9000 homes and business occurred at 12:30 am. But we prevailed holding the first half of the conference by candle light. Midway through the conference the fire alarm went off, and we had to evacuate to the parking lot while the Fire Department did a room by room search. However, by 11:30 am things started to improve and well over 70 diehard patient safety advocates persevered throughout the entire event.
